The Inside Scoop

Here are some photos of the inside of our new home, beginning at one end and walking through to the other. The photo quality isn't brilliant - I took them on my mobile phone because, let's face it, life is just too short to wait for L to take any on his fancy camera :D

Miss A's room, Mr B likes to hang out in her room. Thank you to Poppy and Nanny for the quilt cover set and her lampshade

The bathroom, a much appreciated area of the house, no more brushing teeth and keeping tioletries at the kitchen sink :)

3 photos from inside the "Parent's Retreat", it's nice to be able to have privacy, I had forgotten what it was like to have a bedroom door :D

Another very much appreciated room in the house - no more emptying the porta potti every week - HOORAY!!!
2 views from inside Mr B's room, thank you again to Nanny and Poppy for the lampshade, and for the quilt cover set for when he's in a big boy bed, and the lace curtains

The laundry - so much space, and now that the washing machine is not in a garden shed somewhere in the back yard, I can hear when it's finished. Who'd have thought washing clothes could be such bliss :)

The lounge room, sorry about the blurriness of the photo, but you get the gist.

The family room/office, hopefully we'll be able to keep it tidier now...well, we'll see ;)

The beautiful kitchen, so much room for everything, and so easy to be organised, without doubt, one of my most appreciated rooms (I'm so proud of my colour co-ordination skills, LOL)

The dining room, much easier to eat from this table now that it's not just another place to put "stuff". Thanks to Poppy and Nanny for the curtain. Balloons have pretty much been a fixture since we moved in here - life is a non-stop party :D
Before we moved into this house, I made a huge list of all the things I was most looking forward to when we finally moved in, the list coved 2 sides of an A4 page, and anyone who knows my writing knows it's small. So far all of those expectations have been met and we are enjoying living here immensely. Even cleaning the house, while it's takes longer, is a much happier task.
HUGE thanks to my Dad and Stepmum for taking time off work to drive 5 hours here for a weekend, to buy almost all of our curtain rods and give us so many curtains, and to put them up, plus many other little jobs that needed to be done XXXOOO THANK YOU.
Also, many thanks to L's Dad and Mum for the HUGE financial contribution they made in helping us to get this home XXXOOO THANK YOU!
